Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using Rafeek, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using the application.

Rafeek provides audio-guided tours, an interactive map, and location-aware exploration of attractions and destinations. Audio guides can be streamed or downloaded for offline listening.

Accuracy

Map guidance, nearby-attraction results, and distance calculations rely on your device's GPS. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee 100% precision due to external factors such as device limitations or weak signal coverage.

User Safety

Following route guidance or listening to audio tours while walking or driving is strictly at your own risk. You are solely responsible for staying aware of your surroundings and obeying local safety laws.

• Account Required: An account is required to use Rafeek's features — there is no guest-browsing mode. You can register with an email address and password, or sign in with Google or Apple.
• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use this service.

When using Rafeek, you agree that you will not:

• Automated Access: Access the app through bots, scripts, scrapers, or any other automated means.
• Circumventing Security: Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the encryption or access controls that protect our audio content, or otherwise try to extract downloaded audio files from the app.
• False Reports: Submit false, misleading, or malicious reports through "Report Issue" or "Contact Us."
• Unauthorized Access: Access or attempt to access another user's account.

All original audio content, text, graphics, logos, map visualizations, and software are the exclusive property of Rafeek or its content licensors.

Permitted Use

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to stream or download audio content for personal, non-commercial use only.

Restrictions

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any portion of the application or its content without prior written permission.

• Transactions: Payments for subscription plans are processed securely via official app stores (Apple App Store / Google Play Store) and are subject to their respective financial terms.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled beforehand, either from within the app or through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refund Policy: All refund requests are subject to the policies of the platform (Store) through which the purchase was made, unless stated otherwise in specific promotional offers.

Rafeek is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The following applies to the app obtained from either store:

• License Scope: Your license to use Rafeek is limited to a non-transferable right to use the app on an Apple iOS or Android device that you own or control, in accordance with that store's own terms of service.
• Maintenance & Support: Rafeek, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app.
• Warranty: If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify the applicable store, which may refund the purchase price, if any. Neither store has any other warranty obligation regarding the app.
• Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to your use of the app, and may enforce them against you.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Rafeek at any time, including for maintenance or updates. We do not guarantee the app will be available at all times, and we are not liable for any inconvenience caused by downtime.

The application and its content are provided on an "As-Is" and "As-Available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Rafeek shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including personal injuries, accidents, or loss of property occurring while using our audio tours or routes.

You agree to indemnify and hold Rafeek harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the app or your violation of these Terms.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of material changes through the application.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service immediately if you violate any provision of these terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
